The MIL project, winner of the Yvelines General Council's "Urban Vehicle - City of the Future" call for projects, was presented on October 7, 2013. It brought together MUSES, INDUCT and LIVIC (an IFSTTAR laboratory) to implement two automatic functions with a 100% electric Mooville vehicle:

  • Automatic valet parking for driverless vehicles.
  • Platooning enables a single driver to move an entire fleet of vehicles. A robotic arm, an integral part of the Mooville vehicle, links the vehicles together to form a train. Each vehicle adapts its behavior to that of the lead vehicle, ensuring monotrace tracking.

CAR&D has designed trajectory tracking control laws providing for redundancy, with :

  • A loop using the leader's steering information
  • A loop only internal to the following vehicle.

360° R&D, the magazine of the Association des Structures de Recherche sous Contrat (ASRC) publishes a feature on CAR&D in its March 2014 issue 5.

  • Video from "LADY ART CAR". CAR&D widely participate to the design of this car with Xavier de la Chapelle... Ettore, do you like it ?

  • ATZ is the reference magazine for automotive engineering, as much for the technical quality of the products presented as for the details and figures provided.

So we were proud to see the Navya shuttle on the cover.

  • Inauguration of the LE.IA test bench Immersion at LNE in Trappes.

"The LE.IA Immersion test bench represents an innovation in the field of physical robot testing and development. Designed to enable in-depth testing in a simulated environment, this bench offers an immersive interface thanks to its conical projection screen, acting as a direct link between the simulator and the robot."
