Renault Sport Technologies' brief was to design a highly innovative, high-tech kart that could be produced in small series.

The innovations are numerous:
- Body design supervised by Renault
- All-aluminium chassis with roll-over bar
- Silent-bloc-mounted bumpers for perimeter protection
- Flexible, symmetrical central rear engine
- Compact design for indoor use
- Integral bodywork in unbreakable thermoformed plastic, for comfortable riding in the rain
- More precise and progressive handling than traditional karts.
