SIMULATORS
DIDACTIC SIMULATOR HYDRACTIVE III
Goal:
To communicate the features and high performance of the Citroën Hydractive III suspension in a didactic way.
Medium :
The didactic simulator is a synchronized combination of computer-generated films correlating the driving situation with the behavior of suspension components, and a 1:1 scale model with 13 motors for the various movements, and chases depicting the flow of information.
This didactic simulator has been exhibited at international trade shows in Geneva, Tokyo and Madrid, as well as in internal communication campaigns.
HIGH-MOTION DRIVING SIMULATOR
Driving simulators now have a wide range of ergonomic and technical uses.
With the aim of raising its capabilities to the highest European level, PSA has commissioned a preliminary design study for a high-motion simulator to reproduce driving sensations as realistically as possible:
- visual (6 channels of computer-generated images),
- sound (7 channels of synthesized sounds),
- passive and active haptics
- movement (6 degrees of freedom on the hexapod and 2 large movements on rails)

IMMERSIVE VIRTUAL REALITY ROOM
Virtual reality is now used in the vehicle design process; most of the elements in the room are virtual, some are physical, such as the driver's cab.
